“It is nice that flags and heads rise in Egypt calling for achieving the people’s ambitions. It is also nice that the national sense rises inside the hardworking people and those who have free opinions and aspire to see Egypt in the best condition, as it is on of the greatest civilizations ever known by the human history.” With these words, Dr Nader Riad started his article which was titled “Production and Operation before Talk and Flags”. The article emphasized that the issue of production, operation and upgrading the labor force should be given the first priority in the national work system with a view to achieving the state’s higher interests.(Available in Arabic – German in PDF )
The article called on economists and industrialists to put their fears and hesitations aside and to kick off their works prompted by their national sense and specialist vision and to know for certain that the gains achieved for them by the state during the past period cost it billions of pounds, in terms of money, and scores of years, in terms of time. The most prominent features of these gains represented in securing the basic industrial infrastructure of industrial cities, power, utilities, modern technology, quality system and the mutual interest between employers and their employees who could successfully cope with the coming modern technology. This has directly affected the competitiveness of the society and enabled it to break into other exporting markets to achieve promising records through developing a system that should not, in any case, retreat or stop, as this might directly threaten the higher interest of the Egyptian economy. The article emphasized that the mutual interests between the white-collar employers and the blue-collar employees has been the main motive behind the awaiting industrial renaissance targeted by the country at present.
