For 9 successive years, the Catholic Centre for Cinema has been celebrating the“Giving Day” to honor artists, cultural figures, and business men in Egypt. The organizing committee headed by Father Botros Daniel chose the honored personalities for 2017. The event was moderated by Mofeeda Sheeha and the singer Sameh Yousry. Dr. Eng. Nader Riad received the “Plaque of Appreciation” as well as an “Acknowledgement Letter” for his effective role in social responsibility through the initiative “Our Clean City, Cairo”. Eng. Tamer Riad received the awards on behalf of Dr. Riad. It is important to mention that Bavaria Fire Fighting Solutions initiated the program “Our clean city, Cairo” in the start of 2016 and this initiative represents a success story in social responsibility. The company organized with the downtown officials the cleaning and garbage disposal of Emadeldin Street through providing new garbage bins, cleaning tools, and completely covering the wages of the cleaning personnel at that area.
