under the presidency of Dr. Nader Riad in the cooperation of programs of Mid Ink for energy rationalization, Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations (CEEBA) has organize a conference for the announcement of the report of the Middle East of energy team staff in Organization for European Economic cooperation throughout a conversation session that discusses the machinery of development of private sector participation in investment in energy sector. The meeting has witnessed ministers of investment, planning, International cooperation and tourism, drinking water facilities, sewerage, Electricity, European Union ambassador, Union countries ambassadors and their financing organizations as well as business organizations leaderships.(Available in Arabic – German in PDF)
In his speech, Dr. Nader Riad, Chairman of confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations (CEEBA) referred that time has come for Egypt to benefit from natural resources which Allah has granted us including wind and solar energies especially in sectors of tourism and water desalting, what the confederation currently proceeds by working for investments and developed technology attraction where It was held in the previous year the Tenth World wind energy conference and the second Mediterranean conference that both have attracted more than one thousand specialized company to Egypt and we currently work for their settlement throughout a number of dual and regional programs. Dr. Alaa Ezz, Secretary General of both unities of European and Egyptian chambers clarified that the event constituted an exhibition of European Union dual and regional projects in the sector of electricity, energy and available Finance system for maximizing the benefit of the private sector from those programs besides financing grants and machinery which are accessible and available for Mediterranean sea region, exceeding 22 billion Euros.
