Council of Arab Economic Unity hold an Honoring ceremony for figures who greatly affected the Council’s history over the last 50 years of establishing the Council. The Honoring included the name of Field Marshal Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, the president of Arab Republic of Egypt; Chancellor Adly Mansour, interim former President; Prime Minister Eng.Ibrahim Mahlab and some of prominent figures like Dr. Amr Moussa, the former Secretary General of the Arab League and Dr. Nader Riad, The chairman of Arab Federation for the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights. General Secretariat of Council of Arab Economic Unity celebrated the 50th anniversary since it was established. A celebration to mark such occasion was organized by The General Secretariat of CAEU in the presence of ministers of Arab member states of the Council, Arab ambassadors, permanent delegates, government representatives and a group of intellectuals and businessmen. On the sideline of the celebration, 98th ordinary session of the council of ministers was held headed by Somalia and the participation of the Secretary- General of the council, ambassador Mohamed Alrabei and ministers of economy, trade and international cooperation in Egypt, Jordan, Sudan, Iraq, Palestine, Mauritania and Yemen in addition to the chairmen of Quality Specialized Arab Unions and permanent delegates of member states of the Council.
